Mi az a Kezdők Útja (BP)?

Egy teendőlista az új tagok számára, amelyből megismerkedhetnek a Rebel Squadrons-szal, és magával a honlappal. Elérhető bárki számára, aki századosi (Captain) rendfokozat alatt szolgál, tehát az összes kadét (Cadet) és hadnagy (Lieutenant) teljesítheti. Amint előléptettek századossá, már nem számítasz kezdőnek, így az utat nem fejezheted be.

Az Út öt kategóriára van osztva: Alapok, Kommunikáció, Oktatás, Egyéb és Haladó. Összesen 25 pont érhető el ezekben, a pontok gyűjtése pedig jutalmakat eredményez a következőképpen:

   * 5 pont: "Kezdők Útja Szalag" (BP Ribbon) és előléptetés Alhadnagy rendfokozatba (Lieutenant Junior Grade)
   * 15 pont: "Kezdők Útja Becsületszalag" (BP Honors Ribbon) és előléptetés Hadnagy rendfokozatba (2nd Lieutenant)
   * 25 pont: "Kezdők Útja Mesterszalag", (BP Master's Ribbon) a legjobban teljesítők számára

Az Úton fellelhető összes feladat leírása következik.

Megjegyzés: A cikk írása idején (2008. október 14.) 5 pont elérhetetlen, így az elérhető maximum 20 pont. Ha mind a huszat összegyűjtöd, megkapod a Mesterszalagot.

Alapok

Erősítsd meg az e-mail címedet. 1 pont. Automatikusan megkapod. Ez az első lépés a Kezdők Útján, ezáltal hozol létre egy olyan profilt az RS-ben, amellyel az Út többi részét teljesítheted. Miután kitöltötted és elküldted a jelentkezési lapodat, egy e-mailt kapsz, ami az internetes levélcímed megerősítésére kér. Klikkelj a levélben található linkre, hogy aktiváld RS profilodat.

Szerkeszd meg az RS szolgálati névjegyzék-profilodat. 1 pont. Automatikusan megkapod. Keresd meg a profilszerkesztőt, és adj meg néhány információt magadról és karakteredről. Mentsd el a változtatásokat, hogy megkapd a pontot.

Küldj e-mailt az RS oldaláról. 1 pont. Automatikusan megkapod. A klub oldala lehetővé teszi, hogy a többi tagnak levelet küldj. A két legismertebb út ehhez, hogy egy tag profilján található e-mail címre klikkelsz, vagy a bal oldalon található "Email" linkre kattintasz.

Írd meg karaktered életrajzát. 2 pont. Automatikusan megkapod. Adj karakterednek egy kitalált hátteret azzal, hogy megírod életét. Egy kis történelemmel a hátad mögött és némi szerepjátékkal sokkal jobban fogod magad érezni a Rebel Squadrons berkein belül. Életrajzod itt még lehet rövid és egyszerű, de később érdemes kibővíteni. Kommunikáció

Iratkozz fel a fórumra, és kösd össze a fórum adatlapodat a szolgálati névjegyzék-profiloddal. 1 pont. Automatikusan megkapod. Egy új felhasználónevet kell létrehoznod, hogy írhass a fórumra; ez a név bármi lehet. Miután ezt megtetted, lépj az RS menüdbe, és kösd RS profilodat a fórumnevedhez, így rendfokozatod és RS neved megjelenik a hozzászólsaidban.

Szólj hozzá egyszer a fórumhoz. 1 pont. Automatikusan megkapod. Írj egy hozzászólást a fórumon belül bárhová - ez lehet személyes bemutatkozásod az Általános (General) fórumon, egy válaszlevél flottád fórumján, vagy bármi más.

Iratkozz fel IRC-re, csatlakozz az #rs_bar_and_grill csatornához, és üzenj az RS robotnak. 2 pont. Automatikusan megkapod. Ha segítségre van szükséged az IRC használatát illetően, akkor először a chat felületünkre lépj be! Nyiss egy privát ablakot MrBot-tal, majd írd be: !login PIN jelszó, behelyettesítve a személyes adataidat (pl.: !login 1306 kutya).

Kommentelj egy RS hírt. 1 pont. Automatikusan megkapod. Látogasd meg az RS hírarchívumát, majd kommentelj bármelyik hírhez, hogy megkapd ezt a pontot.

Telepítsd az Xfire-t, és add rsdale-t a barátaidhoz. 1 pont. Admin jóváhagyás szükséges: COL Luren "DaLe" Ketan. Az Xfire egy gaming azonnali üzenetközvetítő rendszer. Még ha nem is szándékozol multiban játszani a többi taggal, akkor is hasznos lehet feliratkozni, hiszen így kapcsolatba léphetsz azokkal is, akik IRC-n nincsenek fenn. Vedd fel "rsdale"-t, vagyis Luren "DaLe" Ketan-t a barátaid közé, és amint ő megkapta a felkérést, kapcsolatba lép a BP adminisztrátoraival, hogy megkaphasd ezt a pontot is.

Education

Read all five Bylaws pages. 1 point. Automatically awarded. The Bylaws are the highest code of law in the Rebel Squadrons, and it is important to be familiar with them and know their dictates. Read the Bylaws in their entirety to earn this point.

Read all thirteen Operations Manual pages. 1 point. Automatically awarded. The Operations Manual is your briefing on the Rebel Squadrons. Much of it is an easier-to-understand version of the Bylaws, and there is also a good deal of new information as well. If you make it all the way through the OpsMan, you will have learned most of the essential information about the Rebel Squadrons.

Visit all Executive Office pages. 1 point. Automatically awarded. This point is currently unavailable, as many of the sites are in some disrepair, and we are in a transition between RS Fleet Commanders.

Take one academy course. 1 point. Automatically awarded. This point is currently unavailable, as the new Academy has not been set up yet.

Other

Vote on ten quotes. 1 point. Automatically awarded. Visit our Quotes Database and vote "Good" or "Poor" on any ten different quotes to earn this point. Enjoy the often wacky humor of RS members; the "Top Quotes" page is highly recommended.

Upload one real-life or character picture to the gallery. 1 point. Admin approval required: RA Joshua Hawkins. Visit the RS Gallery, look at a few members' pictures if you want to, and upload one of your own. It should be a picture of you; if you are uncomfortable with a real-life picture, then you are free to upload a rendering of your RS character. This point will be awarded when an admin approves your submission.

Make a submission for Funpoints. 1 point. Automatically awarded. This point is currently unavailable, as the status of the Funpoints system is being examined.

Advanced

Pass two academy courses. 2 points. Automatically awarded. These points are currently unavailable, as the new Academy has not been set up yet.

Write a quality biography of at least 500 words in length. 2 points. Admin approval required: COL Luren "DaLe" Ketan. You've written the first version of your biography; now write a lengthy one that you and your character can be proud of. Or perhaps you did that the first time. To earn these points, your biography must be written with good English, cover several aspects of your character's personality and history, and have approximately 500 words or more. Email the Training Officer when you think you are ready to submit your biography, and he will review it and notify you if it is good enough and you have earned the points, or what it still needs in order to be completed.

Participate in one standard gaming activity, as defined by your fleet(s). 1 point. Admin approval required: COL Luren "DaLe" Ketan. Participate in a primary activity for a fleet you are in: one mission report on an ITOD, one multiplayer match, one sim, one post in a run-on, and so on. Have your Squadron CO or Training Officer email the RS Training Officer stating that you have completed this and have earned the point.

Post five times on the forums, at least twice with 100 or more words. 1 point. Admin approval required: COL Luren "DaLe" Ketan. To enter more fully into the RS conversations, post five times on our forums, and at least two should be on-topic and of medium length: approximately 100 words or more. When you have completed this, email the Training Officer and give him the links to the five posts you wish him to take a look at. He will award the point upon approval.

Earn three Funpoints. 1 point. Automatically awarded. This point is currently unavailable, as the status of the Funpoints system is being examined.

Join the RS wiki and make an edit with it. 1 point. Admin approval required: COL Luren "DaLe" Ketan. Go to the RS wiki, available on the left nav bar. For wiki, create a new account, with whatever username you like, and edit one page of whichever type you like, including your own user page. After you have done either of these things, email the Training Officer with a link to the page you edited, and he will award this point if it is valid.
