Imperial vessel, based in the Desdemona Sector.
History
Joint-led Imperial forces with the Strike Cruiser Lightning Dart in an attack on Republic Shield forces in the Desdemona Sector. The Star Destroyer Prometheus’ forces struck back, disabling the Lightning Dart, destroying the bulk of the Imperial attack force, and driving off the rest. The fate of the vessel is unknown. It was intended to suffer the same fate as the Lightning Dart, but a mix-up in the order directives of the assault transport Sandman caused it to concentrate its efforts on starfighter forces, instead of the vessel. It is possible that the vessel was destroyed in the battle, or escaped heavily damaged. It was not seen on the front lines for the rest of the conflict. (R2F801)
