Gryphon Commandos

The Gryphon Commandos were created as an invitation only "elite" squad within the Rebel Squadrons Commando Division. Meant to highlight the best Jedi Knight players the RS had to offer, they also served in the fictional realm as the Fleet Commander's personal guard. The unit was later disbanded partly because focus was shifted towards inter-club competitions involving the entire RS instead of single fleets.
