PBF 603

Windstorm

Led Republic Shield forces in pursuit of the Star Destroyer Battleking, which involved navigating an asteroid field. By the time Republic Shield scout forces had reached the Battleking it escaped into hyperspace, leaving the Windstorm trapped in the middle of the asteroid field when an Imperial ambush force of corvettes entered the belt and engaged the vessel at point blank range. One corvette, the Astral Dawn, flew straight into the vessel, destroying the corvette but significantly damaging the vessel, especially its shields. Republic Shield forces defended the vessel as it limped out of the asteroid field to escape, and the remaining corvettes were destroyed before the vessel escaped into hyperspace. (PBF603)

Battleking

Lured Republic Shield forces led by the Calamari Cruiser Windstorm through an asteroid field, and waited on the far side of the navigational hazard with its shields down, to draw the Windstorm’s escorts to the vessel, leaving the Calamari Cruiser undefended. When the Windstorm’s forces were close enough to the vessel to identify it, the attack was launched, and a group of corvettes appeared on the edges of the asteroid field and engaged the escort-less Windstorm directly, while the vessel left the engagement by entering hyperspace. Partisan

Led Imperial ambush on the Calamari Cruiser Windstorm, which was trapped in an asteroid field that it had been navigating in pursuit of the Star Destroyer Battleking, which drew off the Windstorm’s escorts before signalling the ambush to commence. As the Battleking entered hyperspace the vessel entered the asteroid field, and engaged the Calamari Cruiser’s left flank. While Republic Shield forces reeled at the attack, the rest of the corvette attack force entered the area and began pummelling the Windstorm from various angles with the Astral Dawn flying directly into it bringing about the corvette’s demise; however the blow significantly damaged the fleeing Calamari Cruiser. Eventually the Windstorm’s defenders rallied and started eliminating the Imperial attack force. Destroyed by Republic Shield forces. (PBF603)

Locust

Astral Dawn

Part of Imperial ambush led by the corvette Partisan on the Calamari Cruiser Windstorm, which was trapped in an asteroid field that it had been navigating in pursuit of the Star Destroyer Battleking, which drew off the Windstorm’s escorts before signalling the ambush to commence. As the Battleking entered hyperspace the ambush commenced. The corvettes Partisan, Locust and Guardsman engaged the Windstorm from various angles, while the vessel dropped out of hyperspace directly in front of it and ploughed headlong into the Calamari Cruiser’s bulk. The ploy significantly injured the Windstorm, at the expense of the vessel’s existence. Destroyed in the kamikaze manoeuvre. (PBF603)

PBF 604

Warden

Carried replacement shield generator systems to the Calamari Cruiser Windstorm, which had broken down near navigation buoy AS1CP42 after escaping from an Imperial ambush in an asteroid field. Docked with the Windstorm and delivered the cargo while Republic Shield forces protected the vessel and the inert command ship from an Imperial attack force. (PBF604)

Windstorm

Launched the shuttle Teke’s Hand carrying Vice Admiral Tyrell Borran from the combat zone back to the Greeop Sector. After escaping from the Imperial ambush in the asteroid field the vessel was torn from hyperspace by a local star exploding. The change in gravitational effect combined with the battle damage the vessel had sustained overloaded several systems, rendering hyperspace capability and combat systems offline. Summoned Republic Shield reinforcements to provide replacement systems, and waited near nay buoy AS1CP42 for the ships to arrive. Imperial forces began an assault on the vessel as repair craft arrived with replacement parts. Republic Shield forces defended the vessel and the courier ships, holding them at bay while the freighter Startide delivered its cargo of part, the corvette Keeper delivered its cargo of a replacement hyperdrive, and the corvette Warden delivered its cargo of a replacement shield generator. The Imperial attack force defeated, and the delivery ships safely away, the vessel then began the repair process. (PBF604)

McGrath

Received orders to rendezvous with the Calamari Cruiser Windstorm, which had just escaped from an ambush in an asteroid field. However, the Windstorm’s hyperdrive failed, so it is unlikely that the ship made it to the rendezvous point with the vessel. (PBF604)

Enigma

Arrived to protect an undefended Imperial supply cache from Republic Shield reconnaissance forces, which were scanning the contents of the containers. Led Imperial forces against the reconnaissance forces, but the entire supply cache of mineral ores, food rations, tibanna gas, armour, and TIE starfighters were destroyed by the Republic Shield force, along with the vessel’s own starfighter complement. The vessel withdrew from the supply cache after the majority of containers and starfighters had been destroyed and the reconnaissance force escaped into hyperspace. (PBF605)

PBF 606

Enigma

Returned to the Imperial supply cache decimated by a previous Republic Shield reconnaissance force. Attempted to prevent the remnants of the cache from Aurora Force commandos attempting to secure the cargo with transport group Redstar. Republic Shield forces hampered Imperial efforts, allowing the Aurora Force transports to escape with the captured tibanna gas. Destroyed the remaining supply containers, but not before the transport group Redstar successfully withdrew from the engagement zone with the cargo. (PBF606)

Rover

Reinforced Imperial forces led by the Frigate Enigma attempting to prevent Republic Shield transports from escaping with tibanna gas from an Imperial supply cache. Joined with the Enigma in attacking the cargo containers in an effort to prevent the supplies being captured. Failed in the mission, as the transport group Redstar successfully escaped with the tibanna gas, covered by Republic Shield forces. Also failed in surviving the operation. Destroyed by Republic Shield forces. (PBF606)

PBF 607

Warden

Acted as bait to lure the Frigate Enigma into a Republic Shield trap. Pretended to be damaged by an altercation with a nearby asteroid field and surrendered to the Enigma’s forces. Imperial forces from the Enigma disabled the vessel and its Republic Shield escort force. With the Enigma placed within the hyperspace trap of the asteroid field, the vessel had to prevent being boarded until reinforcements could arrive. The Republic Shield escort force gradually restored its systems online and destroyed the transport Omicron, which had launched from the Enigma to capture the vessel. Republic Shield reinforcements led by the Calamari Cruiser McGrath soon arrived to protect the vessel from further molestation, and to lead the strike on the Frigate Enigma. A repair crew aboard the transport Hawk launched from the Calamari Cruiser McGrath while Republic Shield forces engaged the Enigma and its defending Imperial forces. While Republic Shield forces beat the Enigma into submission, Imperial reinforcements led by the Star Destroyer Battleking and backed up by the Frigate Quickdraw arrived to hammer the McGrath in turn. The Enigma fell, but Imperial forces bombarded the McGrath, with the transport group Kappa launching from the Quickdraw in an attempt to disable the Calamari Cruiser. However Republic Shield forces were able to abate the Imperial attack, sparing the McGrath from destruction or capture. Imperial forces eventually withdrew from the asteroid field. The transport Hawk finished repairs, and the vessel was able to also leave the combat zone. (PBF607)

Led Republic Shield ambush against the Frigate Enigma, which had been lured into a hyperspace trap in an asteroid field by the corvette Warden, which had surrendered and allowed itself to be disabled in its role as bait. Led forces against the Enigma, directly engaging it. Launched a repair crew aboard the transport Hawk to restore the Warden’s power systems, while Republic Shield forces engaged the Enigma and its defending Imperial forces. While Republic Shield forces beat the Enigma into submission, Imperial reinforcements led by the Star Destroyer Battleking and backed up by the Frigate Quickdraw arrived to hammer the vessel in turn. The Enigma fell, but Imperial forces bombarded the vessel, with the transport group Kappa launching from the Battleking in an attempt to disable it. However Republic Shield forces were able to abate the Imperial attack, sparing the vessel from destruction or capture. Imperial forces eventually withdrew from the asteroid field. Lured into a Republic Shield trap by the corvette Warden, which feigned significant damage from an incident in the nearby asteroid field. The Warden surrendered to the vessel, and Imperial forces disabled the corvette and its escort. Launched the transport Omicron to board and capture the Warden, when the Republic Shield escort force sprang to life, destroying the Omicron and preventing capture of the corvette. Before the vessel could order its forces against the escort, the Republic Shield ambush force led by the Calamari Cruiser McGrath arrived. The McGrath led the attack, directly engaging the vessel. Imperial reinforcements led by the Star Destroyer Battleking and backed up by the Frigate Quickdraw arrived to hammer the McGrath, but their aid was too late to save the vessel, which succumbed to the Republic Shield trap. Quickdraw

Part of Imperial reinforcements led by the Star Destroyer Battleking that came to the assistance of the Frigate Enigma which were being ambushed by Republic Shield forces led by the Calamari Cruiser McGrath in an asteroid field. The McGrath’s forces were beating the Enigma into submission when the vessel arrived, and the Imperial reinforcements turned the attack back onto the Calamari Cruiser. The Frigate Enigma eventually fell, but Imperial forces bombarded the McGrath, with the vessel launching the transport group Kappa in an attempt to disable the Calamari Cruiser. However Republic Shield forces were able to abate the Imperial attack, sparing the McGrath from destruction or capture. Followed the Battleking as it led a retreat of Imperial forces from the combat zone, while Republic Shield forces successfully repaired and escaped with their disabled corvette that baited the Enigma. Windstorm

Reinforced Republic Shield forces led by the Calamari Cruiser McGrath, which was under attack by an Imperial ambush force led by the Frigate Dark Blade at the Republic Shield rendezvous point. The McGrath had not fared well, as its deflector shields had been offline from the beginning of the battle. The McGrath’s forces had already dealt with the majority of the Imperial support ships by the time the vessel arrived to lend assistance. Together the vessels drove Republic Shield forces to concentrate firepower on the Imperial frigate, destroying the Dark Blade. (PBF608)

Arrived early at a rendezvous point with the Calamari Cruiser Windstorm, where Imperial forces led by the Frigate Dark Blade were prepared for an ambush. Imperial forces attempted to destroy the vessel, which still lacked defensive shields, but the vessel led Republic Shield forces against the supporting corvettes, stripping the Dark Blade of its escorts. The Calamari Cruiser Windstorm arrived to reinforce the vessel, and Patriot Battle Group forces concentrated firepower on the Imperial frigate, ending in its destruction. (PBF608)

Dark Blade

Led an Imperial attack force that ambushed the Calamari Cruiser McGrath at a Republic Shield rendezvous point. The McGrath was at a disadvantage, both numerically and due to lack of deflector shields. The corvette groups Saw and Chain supported the vessel during the assault. However, Republic Shield forces concentrated their firepower on disrupting the vessel’s support ships, cutting down the vessel’s task force. By the time the Calamari Cruiser Windstorm arrived, Republic Shield forces had turned the tide of the battle, and concentrated their firepower on the lone frigate. The vessel made a last stand that led to its destruction. Destroyed by Republic Shield forces. (PBF608)

Both vessels were part of an Imperial attack force led by the Frigate Dark Blade that ambushed the Calamari Cruiser McGrath at a Republic Shield rendezvous point. The McGrath was at a disadvantage, both numerically and due to lack of deflector shields. Supported the Dark Blade during the assault on the wounded Calamari Cruiser. However, Republic Shield forces concentrated their firepower on disrupting the Dark Blade’s support ships, leading to the vessels’ demise. Attended to repairing battle damage while the Calamari Cruiser McGrath led a reconnaissance mission against an Imperial meeting between the Star Destroyers Battleking and Arcanus. The repairs were apparently proceeding well, however the vessel was apparently in no shape to assist the McGrath in its mission. (PBF609)

McGrath

After some extensive repairs, the vessel was restored to combat readiness. Led Republic Shield forces in an armed reconnaissance of an Imperial fleet build-up, with objectives of dispersing the meeting between the Star Destroyers Battleking and Arcanus. While Republic Shield forces harassed the Star Destroyers with scanners, the corvettes Attrition I and Attrition II moved to intercept the vessel. At this point the vessel discovered that weapons systems were still offline. Received a pounding from the corvettes Attrition I and Attrition II, which the vessel could only receive and attempt to evade. Republic Shield reconnaissance forces succeeded in driving the Star Destroyers off. Attempted to pursue the Star Destroyer Battleking, but the patrolling corvettes prevented pursuit. Republic Shield forces mopped up the remaining Imperial forces, and devastated the corvettes Attrition I and Attrition II. Withdrew from the engagement zone to await the return of Republic Shield forces. (PBF609)

Attended a meeting with the Star Destroyer Arcanus, with corvettes Attrition I and Attrition II patrolling the rendezvous point. The Calamari Cruiser McGrath arrived and led Republic Shield forces in scanning the Star Destroyers, forcing an adjournment of the meeting. Launched light defences to keep the attacking forces busy whilst the Star Destroyers withdrew from the combat zone. The Calamari Cruiser McGrath attempted to pursue the vessel, but the corvettes Attrition I and Attrition II bravely blocked the McGrath’s path, resulting in their demise, but preventing the Calamari Cruiser from tracking the vessel as it entered hyperspace.
