History
Staging area of Republic Shield forces that launched from the Victory Star Destroyer Resurrection II to attack Imperial holdings elsewhere. The site of a clash between pirate forces led by the Bulk Cruiser Misery in pursuit of the YT-1300 freighter Lightrift and Republic Shield forces, who returned to aid the Resurrection II in defending the asylum-seeking YT-1300 freighter and the civilian facilities. Pirate forces attacked Republic Shield forces and nearby civilian ships indiscriminately, prompting the Calamari Cruiser Rebel Fist arrived to reinforce the Victory Star Destroyer Resurrection II and its forces. The pirate forces refused to yield, leading to their annihilation by Republic Shield forces. The YT-1300 freighter Lightrift then entered the Rebel Fist’s hangar, while the Republic Shield attack force returned to the Resurrection II. (IBG509)
