First Lieutenant is the third squadron level rank. It is granted to persons who have proven activity and contributions to the Rebel Squadrons at the squadron level for a minimum of two weeks as a Second Lieutenant.[[1]]

Eligible for being a Squadron XO or an Instructor in the Academy, rarely holds the position of a Squadron CO.
