Abandon vessel, commanded by Captain Arlen Soban.
History
Allied and stationed with Imperial fleet based in the Desdemona Sector, led by a Warlord aboard the Star Destroyer Indomitable. Stationed at the main Imperial fleet in the Desdemona Sector when attacked by a Republic Shield forces led by the Star Destroyer Prometheus. Imperial forces were soon flanked by a second task force led by the Frigate Vespia, and the Interdictor Chains of Justice engaged its gravity well projectors, preventing the vessel from escaping, and heralding a major fleet conflict. However, the vessel led Abandon forces against the Imperial fleet as soon as the battle commenced, forming a third barrier closing upon Imperial forces. Imperial, Abandon and Republic Shield forces clashed, and the Interdictor Chains of Justice was forced to withdraw from the engagement, allowing the Star Destroyer Indomitable to prepare to escape, using the vessel and the three other corvettes to block enemy fire. However, Republic Shield forces outmanoeuvred Imperial forces, bringing down the Indomitable, and routing the Imperial fleet. (R2F802)
Led Abandon defences at the diplomat transfer between Republic Shield and Abandon forces in the Desdemona Sector. Launched Abandon ambassadorial party on the shuttle Salutation, which headed for the Republic Shield Frigate Vespia. Defended against Imperial attempts to disrupt the negotiations led by the Strike Cruiser Vicious, and helped drive off the attackers, allowing the diplomatic craft to safely arrive onboard the opposite faction’s vessels. (R2F803)
Stationed at the Abandon fleet buildup when approached by Republic Shield forces led by the Star Destroyer Prometheus, who were preparing for a retaliatory assault against the Abandon fleet due to being suspected of supplying Imperial forces with the location of the Prometheus and its status. The Abandon forces claimed to know nothing of the allegations, but the point became moot when Imperial forces led by the Frigate Salatum descended on the position and launched an attack on Republic Shield and Abandon forces. Led Abandon forces against the attacking Imperial forces, along with Republic Shield, led by the Star Destroyer Prometheus. The Imperial Escort Carrier Bertha danced around the fleet, periodically launching Imperial forces and then entering hyperspace briefly before returning to deploy more forces to completely surround the Abandon and Republic Shield forces. The Imperial forces were eventually beaten back and defeated, and the Abandon forces were viewed with less suspicion as they had battled against the invading Imperial forces, when they could have evened the conflict against Republic Shield forces had they wished to. (R2F805)
