R2F 501

Angelfire

After undergoing extensive repairs, the vessel returned to active duty to lead an aggressive Republic Shield investigative force of a suspected Imperial outpost reported by a neutral freighter deep in Republic Shield space. Confirmed the platform to be Imperial, and led Republic Shield forces in razing the outpost. Imperial reinforcements led by the Victory Star Destroyer Thrasher attempted to prevent the assault; however they only succeeded in slowing down the process and heavily damaging the vessel before withdrawing from the combat zone. Liberator

Led Republic Shield reinforcements in response to a distress call by a station on the outskirts of Republic Shield space, possibly in the Pyria system. Led Republic Shield reinforcements against Imperial forces led by a frigate, which were razing the platform. Drove off Imperial forces, and collected survivors from the station. (R2F501)

Outpost X

The station’s existence deep within Republic Shield space was reported by a neutral freighter. A Republic Shield investigative force led by the Modified Frigate Angelfire observed the station, and confirmed it to be Imperial. Republic Shield forces engaged the station, and despite Imperial reinforcements led by the Victory Star Destroyer Thrasher, the station was razed. Destroyed by Republic Shield forces. (R2F501)

Thrasher

Led Imperial reinforcements in an attempt to stave off the assault on platform Outpost X by Republic Shield forces led by the Modified Frigate Angelfire. Imperial forces were unable to prevent the razing of the station, and the vessel was bombarded until its shields collapsed, however before the vessel successfully withdrew from the combat zone it caused heavy damage to the Angelfire. Due to the extensive damage sustained by the vessel, Republic Shield forces set about taking control of the region by deposing the current Imperial governing offices and creating a Republic Shield outpost. To this end, the vessel was part of Republic Shield forces led by the Star Destroyer Liberator in an assault against Imperial governing offices aboard the asteroid base Home. Imperial forces led by the Victory Star Destroyer Thrasher defended the base; however they were unable to hold back the Republic Shield attack force, which razed the governing offices and the defensive infrastructure, crushing the defence forces in the process. The Claw restrained Republic Shield forces while pursuing Imperial forces, led by the Star Destroyer Gigantes, rushed to reinforce the Interdictor’s position and crush the task force. The Star Destroyer Liberator led Republic Shield forces in an assault against the Claw, in order to break free its interdiction field, to escape the pursuing Imperial force. However, Imperial reinforcements headed by the Star Destroyer Gigantes arrived, and launched an attack on Republic Shield forces. Before the Imperial task force could crush Republic Shield forces, the Interdictor Claw was successfully hulled, allowing hyperspace travel to continue undeterred. The vessel then followed the Liberator as it led Republic Shield forces from the combat zone, successfully withdrawing before Imperial forces could crush them. (R2F504)

Agreed to resupply the battered Republic Shield task force led by the Star Destroyer Liberator to aid in their battle against Imperial forces in the region. Provided replacement starfighters and supplies in return for the Republic Shield’s pledge to remove the Imperial presence in the sector. Launched the transport group Sigma, and the transports Kappa I, Kappa II, and Kappa III to resupply the Star Destroyer Liberator, the Modified Frigate Angelfire, and the Frigates Gunship and Striker, respectively.
