ITOD reporter (automatic update)

Description: Create a seamless reporter/scoreboard updater that makes reports appear instantly on the ITOD killboards. Division CS need only to "approve" or "reject" reports.

Progress: Done for: XW, XvT, XWA, EaW. Not done for TIE.

Next steps: Complete TIE: both .tfr files and finish storage of multiple screenshots (mission failure). Then, complete directory handling for ITOD missions (upgrading the ITOD mission details editor).

VSG merits calculator

Description: Create a system that automatically updates projected VSG merits when any website report is submitted (ITOD, historical, multiplayer). Allow division CS to enter their necessary values (variable bonuses, etc.) and modify anything. Make expandable for units other than VSG, or even RS-wide.

Progress: Conceptual stage. Kirghy said he was going to make one for a class, but it wouldn't be tied to the RS site.

Next steps: Set up automatic merits system, and allow input. Then, link reporters to system.

Squadron news service

Description: Create a centrally stored news service for squadron websites that allows for easy updating by any eligible squadron members, and does not require FTP, only web access. Make extensible for all units (fleets, wings, squadrons, even executive offices).

Progress: Initial database table set up; unsure if any code has been written.

Next steps: Write code.

Rank and File

Description: Establish a way of quantifying promotions to assist activity. See Rank and File, and RS-wide merits.

Progress: Conceptual stage; more input needed from others.

Next steps: Seek out constructive criticism and more input; possibly find a different project leader.

Holy Sheet

Description: Create character sheet system for all Rebel Squadrons members. See Holy Sheet.

RS Card Game

Description: Create a "card game" for Rebel Squadrons members to play, featuring copious in jokes. See RS Card Game.

Progress: Conceptual stage; work has begun at User:Licah Fox/Card game.

Next steps: Evaluate progress and determine how to begin coding.

RS Dancing

Description: Form a new unit for Dance Dance Revolution. See RS Dancing.

Progress: One song adapted. Interest gained from one or two members.

Next steps: Set several more songs to make an initial database, find interest among members, found a unit.

Academy

Description: Create a postgraduate Academy for the purpose of training current RS members in a variety of areas. See Academy.

Progress: Several courses have been outlined and even completed in a basic fashion. Most of the code has been written.

Missions Database

Description: Create a database of missions for every game which the RS supports. Create a system that encourages participation in this database. Create a guide to missionmaking. See Missions Database, Mission building.

Progress: Much of this is already live at http://missions.rebelsquadrons.org/.

• Add tools and support for TIE, add fleet missions for XvT and XWA which aren't added in, add in LA missions.
• EaW needs tools and support. Currently not ideally functional for style of platform.
• Re-organise header to remove defunct games in RS. Was originally built under the hopeful presumption that the RS TOD would jump start them and there would be stuff to put there. Will require new header image layout.
• Get people on board who are "experts" in a particular game to tailor and/or streamline each section.

• Beginner's Path: convert all old points to new system (with some items recently increased in points)
• Evaluate Website to-do list and add to this list
• Evaluate User:Licah Fox/book material for possible tasks
