The Minos Investigation Group (MIG) is a strike group of vessels under the control of the PBF that is charged with the task of hunting down Imperial forces in the Minos Cluster. MIG remains separate under the authority of the PBF for the duration of their Tour 7 and is therefore a subsection of the main RS fleet.

Leadership
The Head of the MIG is the PBF CO, Joshua Hawkins. Other important figures in the strike force include General Max Cal, XO of PBF and Fleet Admiral Mike "MacMan" McEwen, SO of PBF.
History
The PBF's mission in the Minos Cluster had been going for several months prior to the Battle of Blerthmore and the outbreak of the Subterrel Conflict. While the leadership of MIG would have liked to bring the strike group back to help the RS defend itself, it was prevented by the Imperial threat in the Cluster, which still remains at large. Until those Imperials are defeated, PBF and MIG remain trapped in the Cluster.
