History

The vessel was the command ship leading an investigation of a rumoured Imperial remnant base somewhere in the sector. Based near a dark grey rocky planet (#17) orbiting an old white star (#85) while Republic Shield forces led by the corvette Kappa launched an investigation to a nearby smuggler base. (Blade 101)

Left staging area to lead Republic Shield task force in an attempted strike against the Admiral Turonâ€™s Golan III Station Deserter. However, the unexpected presence of a Super Star Destroyer prompted the fleet to abandon the assault and withdraw from the system to a new rendezvous point. (Blade 102)

Part of the fleet build-up near an old white star (#85), preparing to assault the Tarla Minor Shipyards. Present at the build-up during a Republic Shield assault of an Imperial convoy by a task force led by the Calamari Cruiser Engel. (IBG 101)

When the convoy was not present at the rendezvous point near a blue cloudy planet (#56) orbiting a purple star (#87), the vessel led the search for the convoy and found them ambushed on the edge of the Karsk Nebula by Imperial forces led by the Star Destroyer Sustainer, and restrained by the Interdictor Blue Lightning. Led Republic Shield forces in driving off the Interdictor, aided in the capture of the Star Destroyer Sustainer, and protected the convoy while the freight vessels were repaired and departed for the fleet rendezvous. Left the fleet build-up near a murky orange planet (#33) orbiting a white star with blue halo (#90) to reinforce Republic Shield forces which had been lured into an Imperial ambush by survivors of the Jardal pirates aboard the luxury yacht Quicksilver who had alleged an undefended Imperial supply depot. Arrived to join the battle after the satellites jamming communications were destroyed and a call for help could be issued. Helped destroy the Imperial outpost and drive off the Imperial warships, including the Star Destroyer Annihilator, the Interdictor Rapier, the Escort Carrier Kellig, and the Modified Frigate Neutron. Led Republic Shield forces in an assault against intermediate Imperial outpost near a blue and white planet (#36) orbiting an old white star (#85) barring the way to the planet Tarla Minor and its shipyards. Engaged Imperial defences, and aided in the destruction of the Golan Stations and vessels stationed nearby, including the Escort Carriers Valkyrie and Sitrill. (IBG 110)

Stationed at the fleet build-up near the planet Tarla Minor while Republic Shield reconnaissance forces attempted to locate the escaped Super Star Destroyer Patriarch. A number of locations were scouted, including a zone near a red nebula (#73) and a cloudy planet (#9), but the Patriarch was finally located at a TIE Defender manufacturing facility near a purple planet (#52) orbiting a blue star (#89). Moved with the entire fleet to that location to begin the assault on the Super Star Destroyer. The Interdictor Senate prevented Imperial forces from evading the onslaught, as the rest of the fleet moved in. The Imperial forces had formed into layers of defence around the Patriarch, with outer perimeter forces covering the inner defences, which in turn covered the Super Star Destroyer. Directly engaged perimeter defence group vessels, specifically the Frigate Lapetta, and then pushed through to directly engage the Patriarchâ€™s inner defences, specifically the Star Destroyer Ill Wind. Destroyed enough forces to get in close enough to directly assault the Patriarch, contributing to its demise. (IBG 112)

Led Republic Shield task force in relocating to the intended site of a new base in the Cadrel Expanse. Encountered Imperial forces led by the Victory Star Destroyer Glady near a white planet (#19), which seemed to be escorting an Imperial convoy. Led Republic Shield forces in an assault upon the Imperial forces, which led to the destruction of the convoyâ€™s escorts, and the capture of the Imperial freight vessels. (IBG 201)

Travelled to the outskirts of the Harnah system to rendezvous with the Star Destroyer Emancipator after the withdrawal of Imperial Victory Star Destroyers following a Republic Shield assault on Imperial supplies further in-system, led by the Star Destroyer Prometheus. (R2F703)

Led the forces briefly into an ambush by Rolian Fanatics as a feint, and then â€˜retreatedâ€™ further out from the system, where awaiting Republic Shield forces led by the gunships Daunter, Daze, Bayonet, and Nova flanked the attacking forces, while the Republic Shield main fleet ships led by the vessel created a defensive perimeter around the evacuation vessels. Stationed at New Trassk Base while waiting for Republic Shield reinforcements led by the Assault Frigate Chiin'tal. The Strike Cruiser Dragon's Fire led reinforcements to the system instead of the Chiin'tal, and moments later the imminent Imperial attack force arrived. The task force, led by the Star Destroyer Belligerent, entered the system and launched forces in an attack on Republic Shield forces in the area. Republic Shield forces clashed with the attacking Imperial forces, and succeeded in thinning out the Imperial starfighter cover. Republic Shield reinforcements led by the Modified Frigate Celestial Fury arrived to contribute to the systemâ€™s defences, in preparation for the primary assault that the Imperial forces were moments away from delivering. Led main defensive force protecting New Trassk Base from Imperial strike force led by the Star Destroyer Belligerent. Co-ordinated defences during the battle, and led Republic Shield forces against the attacking forces. After an extensive battle the Imperial attack line was broken, allowing the separated capital ships to be picked off easier. The destruction of the Belligerent heralded the defeat of the attack force, and the Imperial forces attempted to withdraw. The majority of the Imperial attack forces were destroyed, the only exception being the Victory Star Destroyer Dominator, which managed to escape with extensive damage. (IBG408)

Stationed at New Trassk Base during Republic Shield search mission for the damaged Victory Star Destroyer Dominator, which was the only surviving party in the ill-fated Star Destroyer Belligerentâ€™s attack force annihilated in the battle upon the station. Guarded the station while the expeditionary force tracked down the Dominator and captured it. (IBG409)

Co-ordinated Republic Shield defensive efforts against an Imperial attack upon New Trassk Base. Led Republic Shield forces against the invading forces, destroying them completely, preventing them from destroying the station. (IBG501)

Stationed at the Republic Shield fleet build-up while a task force investigated the location of a suspected Imperial outpost. The task force made contact with Imperial forces, reinforced by the Star Destroyer Parallax, and so Republic Shield reinforcements led by the Strike Cruiser Dragon's Fire left the build-up to directly engage the Star Destroyer. The reinforcements soon returned to the build-up extremely battered while other elements continued to raze the Imperial outpost and defending forces. (IBG504)

After finishing repairs from the recent battles, the vessel headed back to New Trassk Base via a neutral system. Accidentally happened upon the Star Destroyer Predator receiving replacement TIE starfighters from landing craft group Ts-001 near a red gas planet (#2). Republic Shield forces engaged the supply ships, destroying them and sparring with the Imperial defensive forces. After the landing craft were destroyed, the Predator withdrew from the combat zone. Imperial reinforcements led by the Victory Star Destroyer Gladius blocked the vessel from reaching its hyperspace vector, and led an assault on the vessel. Republic Shield forces defended the vessel, beating back the offensive force, and eventually bombarding the Gladius into submission. The Imperial threat neutralised, the vessel withdrew from the system, and then waited near a blue nebula (#68) for its forces to catch up and continue escorting it back to New Trassk Base. (IBG507)

Reinforced Republic Shield forces led by the Victory Star Destroyer Resurrection II which were fending off a pirate attack force led by the Bulk Cruiser Misery, at the Hara IV casino near the white rocky planet (#14) Hara IV. The pirate forces attacked Republic Shield and civilian ships indiscriminately, so the vessel helped lead Republic Shield forces in the annihilation of the aggressors, including the marauder corvette Nightmare and the command ship Misery. The YT-1300 freighter Lightrift sought asylum, and was allowed to enter the vesselâ€™s hangar while Republic Shield forces returned to the Victory Star Destroyer Resurrection II. (IBG509)
